From Hard Time to Full Time
Looking for a fresh start? This workshop is for ex-offenders (released, on probation or on parole) who are looking for tips on finding and keeping employment and also wish to discuss ways to overcome the barriers to employment that people with criminal histories face. The Work Opportunity Tax Credit will be discussed and information will be given on how ex-offenders and businesses can take advantage of it. Presented by WorkOne staff. Advanced Usage of Indiana Career Connect
The state of Indiana has launched a cutting edged tool to assist you in you job search. Learn the details of what this system has to offer in a staff led format. You will wak through the assessments available in this system, the resources in this system, and be shown how to post multiple resumes to mirror your job interests. In order to attend this workshop you must have an active and matchable resume in the ICC system.

After Hours Networking Event

Career Assessment Testing
Career assessment testing consists of three different components: Caps - tests abilities in eight different areas such as mechanical reasoning, spacial relationships, and verbal reasoning; Cops - tests a customers preferred activities while at work; Copes - tests a customers work values. The summary results of all three components will reveal to the custmer what kind of industry they have the highest interests in as well as the highest probability of success
